Important Notice Regarding Summer Orders!
Due to the weather conditions, orders for certain items such as candles and hand-painted glasses cannot be guaranteed between June 1 and September 30. Packages are left out at the discretion of your delivery person and may melt in the sun. They also may melt if they are on a delivery truck over a weekend. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on melted items. Please consider all factors when placing your order for items which may melt in the sun.

You can order all your wedding accessories from one place and only have to deal with remembering one URL and email address for any concerns or questions you may have!
How do I place an order using the internet?
Shopping via the Internet could not be easier. Simply click the "Add to Cart" button under the description of the item you would like to purchase. You can view all your purchases by clicking on "View Cart". You will be able to add or subtract items by using the selections provided.
Once you have finished shopping, you can then click on "Check Out". This will bring you to the Customer Information Section. Simply follow the steps to enter your shipping and credit card information. That is all there is to it. You will receive an E-Mail including a confirmation number and a receipt for your order. Please save this email in case you have questions in the future, and to verify that you receive all of your items. If there are any problems with your order, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Is it safe to shop online?
Shopping online at Shop Weddings is completely safe. All orders are encrypted and transmitted through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). You can rest assured that Shop Weddings will protect you from any unauthorized purchase. Your credit card will be charged immediately and even we do not have access to your sensitive information. If you wish to add items to your order, you will need to place an entirely new order, as this information is not stored.
What type of credit cards do you accept?
Shop Weddings accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Do you charge sales tax?
All orders shipped within Maryland will require an additional charge of 5% sales tax. Orders shipped outside Maryland will not require sales tax.
How long do the orders usually take?
All orders, including expedited orders, take two to six business days to process prior to shipping, depending on the level of personalization. Certain items may have an additional processing time which will be noted in the item description. If an item is out of stock, it is noted in the item description. Your order is automatically placed on hold until the date specified. If an item becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will let you know when to expect it and give you the option of canceling or changing your order.
Please allow adequate time for shipping after your order processes. UPS ground can take up to ten (10) business days. Therefore, your order may take approximately ten (10) to sixteen (16) business days from the date it is placed. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or Puerto Rico may take longer and there is an additional shipping charge. If you have ordered from different collections, your items will come from different distribution centers, so you will receive your total order in multiple shipments within that time frame.
To expedite your order, you can choose express shipping for an additional charge. Your order will still take at least 2-6 business days to process, but this cuts down on the actual shipping time. Generally a Second Day Air package will arrive in approximately 5-6 business days and an Overnight Express package will arrive within 3-5 business days. We cannot guarantee on-time delivery if your wedding is less than two weeks away, but every effort will be made to get your package to you on time. Please consider weekends and holidays when placing your order, as they are not included in shipping estimates.

What is your return policy?
Important - Please read this section in its entirety prior to placing your order or attempting to return items. If we receive unauthorized or late returns, you will not receive a refund and the items will not be sent back to you without payment of shipping and handling fees.
No return will be accepted without authorization and all returnable items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Send email to support@americanweddings.com for information.
You will be responsible for paying all shipping fees on items returned through no fault of ShopWeddings.com. If any returned item is received opened, broken, or without a return authorization number no credit will be given.
Most items purchased at ShopWeddings.com may be exchanged for items of equal value, from the same product collection only. Please read the following rules regarding returns:
• We recommend opening packages immediately upon receipt, as all returns and exchanges must be postmarked within two weeks from receipt of the merchandise, without exception.
• No returns or exchanges will be accepted after the date of your event.
• We will be happy to refund your money or exchange the value of the returned product for a new product, within the specified return period.
• You must contact ShopWeddings.com at support@americanweddings.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return shipping instructions, prior to sending any items back.
• You must clearly mark your RMA number on every returned package. Without this number, your return will not be accepted and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to you.
Items which may not be returned or exchanged:
• Items which have been opened.
• Jewelry (including tiaras and hair items)
• Invitations and printed items are never returnable, so we recommend buying a paper sample prior to placing your invitation order.
Due to variations in monitors and images, colors may be slightly different than what you see on your screen. Please keep in mind that although every effort has been made to ensure that the product you order is as it appears on the screen, items may not be exactly as you expected, due to the resolution of your screen. In addition, variations and substitutions may occur due to the availability of raw material and the hand made nature of some items. Engraved items have limitations on space and font and will be shipped in the default font, etc. for the particular item. For example, toasting flutes can only have a numeric date engraved on them due to space constraints, while knife/server sets can have the full date written out on them.
